Dorrit arrived in mid December. She is still very small - she weighd only
365 grams on 16th January 2009. She was found wandering near the back door of a family home. The family took her indoors as
they were concerned for her welfare. This was the right thing to do, as she is far too small to hibernate and will not be
able to make it through the winter if she hibernates. With us she will be kept warm and fed daily, while she stays with us,
and will be released in the spring.
